Summer Reading Program 2019











 


Read to Me Club
This program is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers that are not quite ready to help keep track of their reading.  This program only requires a bookmark to keep track of their reading minutes.  Turn in the completed bookmark to receive a new bookmark and prize from the prize table.








Beginner Readers Club
This program is perfect for Preschool and Kindergarten ages children who are ready to help keep track of their reading minutes.  In this program, your child will receive a reading record sheet to record their daily reading minutes (either being read to or reading on their own), and an activity folder to keep track of their weekly minutes along with several fun learning activities to do at home and at the library when they come to check in to record their time.  Children in this club will receive a prize for every 7 days of reading and may be eligible for our end of summer prize drawing and gift card.




Young Readers Club
This program is for school aged children in 1st through 5th grades.  In this program, children will be responsible for keeping track of their daily and weekly reading minutes (either being read to, reading on their own, or reading to someone else).  Each child will receive a reading record sheet to record their daily reading, and an activity folder with several fun learning activities to do at home and at the library when they check in to record their time.  Children in this club will receive a prize for every 7 days of reading and may be eligible for our end of summer prize drawing and gift card.




Teen Summer Reading Program
All children 6th grade and up will be placed in our Teen Reading Program.

Teens will receive a Summer Reading Folder for registering.  This folder will contain a point explaination sheet, library activity sheets, record sheet to record your hours of reading.  Remember to bring in your folder every 30 points to recieve a prize.  Dont forget, you can earn points for activites and attending progrms too!
The top 3 readers will receive a prize at the end of summer.
