Our Park Party kicks off our annual Summer Reading Program!!
Our "Kick off the Summer" Park Party is Wednesday, June 22 from 10:30 - 11:30 in the Village Square. Local "Celebrities" will be located throughout the park reading their favorite picture books to you and your children. Bring chairs, blankets and settle in. You'll also be registering your children for our annual summer reading program: "On Your Mark, Get Set, READ!", enjoy some lemonade and giveaways for your children! Chalk the Walk!

Stop by the front of the library on Wednesday July 6 at 10:30 for some simple fun with friends. We'll provide the sidewalk chalk, drinks and cookies and YOU provide the artwork! (Come even if it rains...we'll head inside to sing and read funny books! )

Consider bringing some "we're done using them used" books from your home and they'll be donated to the Food Pantry housed next door at the First Presbyterian Church. They give away books to the families who use the pantry services.  All ages of books are welcome!

ZEEMO - The Juggler Comic with the Yo Yos!
Making his first appearance at the Richland Community Library is ZEEMO - the Yo Yo Master!  All ages are welcome on Thursday, July 14 at 10:30 and enjoy:  A magician, a Juggler, a Yo Yo expert and a really funny guy!  ZEEMO will be performing next door at the First Presbyterian Church; there's no charge or need to register.  For more information, call Mary Jasiak at 629-9085 Ext. 108 or click here and send her an email.

All ages are welcome to enjoy the well known Ann Arbor Magician Jeff  Wawrzaszek on Friday, July 22 at 10:30.  We've had Jeff perform his funny magic several times and he does NOT disappoint!  This family show will be next door at the First Presbyterian Church, is free and there's no registration. The Lego Competition is Back!

Drop off your homemade Lego Creations all week starting Tuesday, July 26  in front of the fireplace. We'll provide tags to attach and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to:
  • Y5s - K - 1 grades
  • 2 - 3 grades
  • 4 - 5 grades
  • 6 - 7 - 8 grades
All winners will be announced on Friday July 29 at 1:00....You need NOT be present to win!
 
The Rockin Rovers are returning!!!

All ages are welcome on Wednesday, July 27 to enjoy the “Rockin’ Rovers” - a group of  costumed dogs, along with their owners, rockin’ out to music!

The “Rockin’ Rovers” will be performing at 10:30 next door at the First Presbyterian Church. The owners will offer some basic obedience advice and bonding tips but mostly perform with their dogs!

The Bubble Man is Back!
Don't miss this annual visit from Mr. Ron Loyd who comes everbubblemany year to educate and entertain us with his bubble fun!. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 9 at 10:30 next door at the church. Have YOU ever seen a square bubble? You will!
This program is free and there's no registration.

An Evening Story Time!



All are welcome to wear your "jammies" to the library on Thursday August 11 from 6:30 - 7:30 for an Evening Story Time!  Mrs. "Jay" will read books, sing songs and all will enjoy cookies and milk.
